Heh. That’s not an uncommon sight here in Texas.

Farm equipment even has the right-of-way on lots of roads (Farm-to-Market, or ‘FM’ roads) here. What was unusual was the one time a guy driving a farm tractor thought it was ok to get on the freeway — in the middle lane, no less! Those things can book it around 30-40 mph, but they can’t keep up with freeway speeds.

When I called the local police to report it, the dispatcher said they’d already received a bunch of calls about it. Heh. What’s even more strange is that Texas freeways have access roads that run parallel to them on both sides. The speed limit on the access roads is usually about 55 mph, and farm equipment is allowed on them . Guess the dude was just in a bigger hurry.

Well, I wasn’t going to say it, but yeah...

Though it isn't always black and white. Mostly, but not always.

lol the guy was actually playing with the fork while he was waiting for a break in traffic so he could turn

i’m kinda stumped as to why he thought he would need to wait, i’m pretty sure everyone would stop for him.

i could only imagine, i’m sure its a blast. I’ve been considering building a garage on my house. I asked my boss how much I could expect to pay for a foundation. he started talking about excavation costs and I was like lol no, I’ll do that myself, i just need someone to form and pour the concrete. Theres no way i’m mixing that much concrete myself

Nice look. Sometimes I feel like I would enjoy being an architect because I’m a little-details sort of guy, but then I remember the insane amount of work and education you need to do so.

yea its a ton of work. I got my masters and not i’m going through a soul sucking process of exams to get my licence. you could just be a drafter with probably just an associates degree. I know a guy that went stright into an office from highschool but I dont think he will ever have the option of moving up much without the degree because of the restrictions for getting a licence. this is what i’m woking on now
